Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 to 60 hours per week, overtime available

About the Role

Capital Tile is a trusted name in tile and stone installation, serving homeowners and businesses across New Hampshire and Massachusetts. We work in ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tile, along with stone pavers and custom stonework, across kitchens, bathrooms, showers, entryways, and outdoor spaces. We are hiring a Tile Setter / Installer based out of our Bow, NH facility.

This posting is open to a wide range of experience, from installers just getting started in the trade to seasoned pros with years in the field. What matters most is a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and pride in doing clean, professional work. Pay is scaled to match the experience you bring.

The work is steady and year-round, and you will have the trucks, tools, and equipment needed to do the job right.

What You Will Do

• Install ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tile at residential and commercial job sites
• Prepare surfaces, apply waterproofing or membrane systems, and lay out tile for a precise, professional fit
• Cut and shape tile and stone using wet saws and hand tools
• Set tile with thin-set mortar, and complete grouting, caulking, and finish work
• Communicate clearly with homeowners, site contacts, and teammates during installs
• Troubleshoot minor field issues and keep the work moving without sacrificing quality

What Will Make You Successful

• No tile experience is required to apply, we are willing to train motivated entry-level candidates
• Prior tile setting, stonework, construction, or related trade experience is a plus and reflected in starting pay
• Comfort working with hand tools, wet saws, levels, and measuring tools, lasers are a plus
• Strong attention to detail and pride in clean, complete work
• Safety mindset and good judgment when handling tools and heavy materials
• Valid driver's license and comfort driving a company box truck to and from job sites

Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding role. Tile, stone, and setting materials are heavy, and boxes of tile, stone pavers, and mortar are regularly carried, lifted, and moved throughout the day, often as part of a team.

• Ability to regularly lift, carry, and maneuver heavy boxes of tile, stone, and material bags, using carts and handling equipment as needed
• Comfort bending, kneeling, standing, and working with tools for most of the shift
• Ability to safely load and secure heavy materials in and out of a box truck

Requirements

• Must pass a DOT-qualified physical exam
• Must pass a DOT drug screen
• Must pass a driving record / motor vehicle record check
• Valid driver's license required, this role requires driving a company box truck
